The Florida State Lottery is hosting a lottery post for its residents in Florida this week.
The lottery post is expected to open Wednesday, Dec. 16, and will be open to anyone in Florida who has the money to pay $1,000 for a ticket to the 2016 NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament.
“The Florida State lottery is the state’s biggest draw and will continue to attract a record number of potential visitors this week as they look to get tickets,” the Florida Lottery said in a press release.
The Florida Lotteries lottery post will be available to those who are eligible to receive tickets, and it will be the first time Florida has opened up a lottery site in more than 20 years.
“Florida State Lotterys lottery site is the largest in the nation and it provides a unique opportunity for Floridians to get their tickets early to compete in the 2016 tournament,” Florida Lotters commissioner Brian Daugherty said in the release.
