Powerball winners are expected to play games with winning ticket numbers as they try to beat a record $1.6bn payout from the National Lottery.
The lottery will award up to $1,000,000 for each winner.
“This is one of the biggest lottery wins in our state history, and I’m so excited to get the tickets into their hands and play them with their winning numbers,” state Lottery Commissioner Ed DeMarco said.
He said winning numbers will be used in “some of the most iconic games and experiences in our history”.
“It’s going to be the biggest game of the year for lots of people in the state,” he said.
“It’s the largest win ever for the Lottery and it’s going for a lot of different reasons.”
The Lottery will announce a new Powerball prize pool on Monday.
DeMarco said the winning numbers could be used as the numbers for future Powerball games.
New Jersey will announce the winners on Wednesday.
Powerball winners have been given an extra $2.7bn by the lottery to spend.
A winning number will have a value of $100 million, up from $50 million last year.
This means the winners will now have an extra million to spend on a range of games.
The Lottery is due to publish its list of games in February.
For now, the winning number numbers will not be used to pay out any prize.
All lottery winners receive a $10,000 payout, which will be paid out to the winner as a lump sum.
Last year, $1bn was paid out, with more than half going to winners who were aged under 65.
As part of the lottery’s annual compensation, winners also get an additional $500,000 in prizes for making a winning bet.
They also receive a chance to win $100,000 on the jackpot, up to a maximum of $1m.
In addition to the $1 billion payout, winners receive up to five tickets to the Powerball jackpot every year.
A lottery spokesman said: “We will continue to work closely with the lottery, the State Lottery, the state’s governor and all stakeholders to ensure that the lottery continues to deliver the best value for the money.”
Last month, the Lotteries office in Manchester, New Jersey, said the total value of the prizes won in the first six weeks of the season was $1billion.
However, Mr DeMarco insisted that a new jackpot will still be handed out.
If there are more than 500 people who bid on a ticket, then it is possible that the number of tickets that will be awarded will be greater than the number that have been bought.
“If there’s only a few hundred people that bid on the lottery ticket, it will be a bigger jackpot than if there are millions of people bidding on tickets,” he told the AP news agency.
After winning the jackpots, the winners are entitled to $500 million in prizes.
But that is not guaranteed.
Mr DeMarco has previously said that the jackpottage was not guaranteed to be worth $1 million.
It was, however, in January that the governor announced the jackpit would be worth up to 1 million times the jacklot’s original value.
President Donald Trump is a fan of the Powerballs, and he was given $100m in the lottery last year as part of a pledge to spend $1tn on infrastructure.
